The Arizona Cardinals must address their injury and late-game concerns coming out of their bye week ahead of Dallas Cowboys matchup.

The Arizona Cardinals are coming off of a disappointing home loss against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. Entering the bye week with only a seven-percent chance to make the playoffs and coming off of a five-game losing streak, the Cardinals main focus is rest and monitor rehabilitation of injured players.

Arizona have multiple injuries on the defensive side of the ball, such as - linebacker BJ Ojulari and Defensive Lineman Walter Nolen III, whom the latter is rehabbing a calf injury. Additionally, defensive backs Starling Thomas V and Jaden Davis have been placed on the injured reserve by the Cardinals following injury.

On the offensive side of the ball, star quarterback Kyler Murray missed time due to a foot injury. However, ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that Kyler Murray is expected to make a Week 9 start against the Dallas Cowboys.

Another offensive key injury for the Cardinals was during their Week 6 game against the Indianapolis Colts, when tight end Travis Vokolek suffered a concussion, as well as a neck injury and was taken to the hospital. No return has been set for the Tight End.

In more positive news, Arizona recently announced their projected date for the opening of their new headquarters/training facility for September of 2028.

This new facility will be located in Scottsdale, AZ, moving from their current Tempe location. With hopes of the updated facility helping prevent injuries, as well as faster rehabilitation for players in the future. The facility will feature three outdoor fields, as well as an indoor field house.

This move closes the door on more than 30 years the team had been located in Tempe. The team says they have simply outgrown the old location.

Health and rehabilitation are not the only focuses heading into the bye week the Cardinals have to focus on. Figuring out how to move the ball downfield and finish and effectively finish out games has been a problem the Cardinals have been unable to solve through the first half of the season.

Arizona has lost all five of their games by not being unable to score on the final possession of those losses.

It is a very unique streak that is not receiving nearly enough attention. Play calling and taking critical sacks in the final drive are things the Cardinals must correct before their Monday Night matchup in Week 9.
