INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts have signed undrafted rookie cornerback Keenan Garber to the practice squad.
Garber (6'0", 188, 25 years old) signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted rookie following the 2025 NFL Draft. He was waived before the regular season. He spent six years at Kansas State, playing wide receiver from 2019-21 before converting to cornerback from 2022-24. He played in 59 career games, including 17 starts from 2023-24.
Garber had six receptions for 82 yards (13.7 avg.) as a receiver and 52 tackles (two for loss), two interceptions, nine pass breakups, and a defensive touchdown as a cornerback.
This preseason with Minnesota, Garber played 13 defensive snaps and 16 special teams snaps in two games.
Garber joins fellow cornerbacks Keydrain Calligan, Chris Lammons, and Mike Hilton on the practice squad.
On Wednesday, the Colts announced that they elevated safety Trey Washington from the practice squad to the active roster to take the place of cornerback Xavien Howard, who retired this week. Garber now takes Washington's spot on the practice squad.
