While the focus Sunday has been on the Jacksonville Jaguars' come-from-behind victory, one thing that was overlooked was the return of tight end Brenton Strange. He played a big part in the team's overtime win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Jacksonville Jaguars welcomed Brenton Strange back Sunday in the victory against the Arizona Cardinals.

He was glad to be back in the lineup.

“I think we had a good game plan to put me in position to do that, and just went out there and executed the plays," Strange said. "I’m happy that they called the plays, I’m happy that the plays worked out, and just got to keep going, keep making it happen.”

Strange had five catches for 93 yards against the Cardinals.

“Of course. I feel like always when I can get my hands on the ball early, it sets the tone for the game and it kind of just gets me in the right mindset to play the rest of the game and just be aggressive," Strange said. "So, I'm happy that the coaches got me involved early. It felt good to be back out there and back moving around. I'm blessed and I'm thankful, man.”

The gossip since the victory Sunday was how the Jaguars managed to pull out a last second victory, despite the fact that they did not play very well.

Strange explains why this team continues to find a way to win when the chips are down.

“I mean, that's a big thing in football. You’ve always got to—there's always going to be adversity at some point in time in the game, and I think that we do a good job of just sticking together," Strange said. "Coach Liam [Head Coach Liam Coen] always says, we want to come like this right here [close motion with interlocking fingers]. So, I think it's a great thing that we do that, and we’ve got to continue to do that for the rest of the year, and I think it'll take us to the places that we want to go."

Strange said that this season's team has a different mindset, a different mentality. He said it shows in their preparation and in their game plan.

“I think it's a different team. Obviously, we have a lot of the same guys, but we've been through those things before," Strange said. "We've been on the other side, and we understand what it takes, and we understand what we have to do. And I think another thing is our preparation. We work hard every single week, come out of practice, and we do what we need to do during the week for practice, and I think that it pays off during the game.”
