During the New York Jets-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn went viral for dancing on the sideline.
Jets' Will McDonald IV blocked Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin's field-goal attempt in Week 3 and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown to put New York ahead of Tampa Bay late in the game.
"Here's what I do know: I'm going to always be me," Glenn said. "Listen, these guys need someone that's going to show they believe in them and is going to show that they're proud of them when they make plays."
Even though the Jets lost to the Buccaneers, it was still a fun moment for Glenn, his family and the Jets.
"I'll tell you what: If I probably didn't do that, my wife and kids would've said, 'Man, what's happening? What's going on with you?'" Glenn said. "I'm never going to be fake. I'm going to always be me. Some people like it, some people don't. It doesn't matter.
"But I'm glad that people could see me and my authentic self, no matter what. And I don't know what it means because some people said, 'Is a head coach supposed to act like that?' How is a head coach supposed to act? I don't know, but it was good."
The Jets face the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. Glenn is still looking to get his first win as a head coach in the NFL.
Glenn hopefully will get quarterback Justin Fields back in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins. Fields suffered a concussion in Week 2 at home against the Buffalo Bills.
If Fields can't play, veteran Tyrod Taylor will start for New York again. Taylor went 26/36 for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 3 against the Buccaneers.
Fields, who started six games for the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) last season before getting benched for Russell Wilson, played well in his Jets debut in Week 1 against his former team. The dynamic QB went 16/22 for 218 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
