Revenge fuels the Lions! Discover three bold prop bets to capitalize on Detroit's primetime clash with Tampa Bay.

Monday, Monday, Monday… you’ll pay for the whole seat but you’ll only need the edge.

That’s right — the Lions are back under the bright lights for another primetime matchup, this time against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field (7 p.m. EST), one of two Monday night games on the NFL slate.

Detroit enters this one with revenge on its mind — on a few fronts. Last week’s loss in Kansas City still leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth: players, coaches, and fans alike. We need some mouthwash — preferably in the flavor of Tampa Bay.

Dan Campbell’s squad has been on what I call a “debt tour,” paying back teams that got the best of them in past seasons. One of those IOUs? A Week 2 loss to the Buccaneers back in 2024. Sure, it’s been more than a year, but debts don’t clear until they’re paid — and the Lions have some payback to deliver.

Tampa Bay, meanwhile, comes in as one of the NFC’s top teams. A win would push them to 6–1, tying Indianapolis for the best record in the league.

So, let’s take a look at three bets that can help you win some money.

🦁 Lions Team Total OVER 30.5 Points

The Lions’ offense actually looked solid early last week in Kansas City — running the ball well against a top-tier defense. Gibbs and Montgomery both gashed the Chiefs on the opening drives, and Detroit should’ve had a touchdown on their first possession if not for a late, questionable flag.

After that, things sputtered. A Sam LaPorta touchdown kept them in it, but drops, penalties, and stalled drives killed momentum. Still, the bones of a strong performance were there.

Now they’re back home, where this offense has averaged 43 points in two games this season. Home Goff and the Ford Field crowd are a different animal. It’s not a knock on his road play — just a fact: this offense clicks at home.

Give me four touchdowns and a field goal — a 31-point showing to cash the over on the team total.

⚡ Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 25.5 Receiving Yards

Gotta risk it for the biscuit.

Gibbs’ receiving yard totals have been a roller coaster:

    • Week 1: 31 yards
    • Week 2: 10 yards
    • Week 3: 32 yards
    • Week 4: 6 yards
    • Week 5: 33 yards

If you follow the pattern, the under would technically be next… but I’m a man who likes biscuits — and sometimes you have to take a risk to get one.

Tampa Bay has allowed the third-most receiving yards to opposing RBs (331 total, 55.2 per game) this season, while also allowing the third-fewest rushing yards. That’s a perfect setup for Gibbs’ involvement through the air — think back to how he was used in Week 1.

Regardless of game flow, this play feels matchup-proof. If Tampa jumps ahead early? Expect checkdowns and quick passes to Gibbs. If Detroit leads comfortably? Campbell and Ben Johnson will still find creative ways to get him the ball in space.

I’m breaking the pattern here, but sometimes it’s worth the risk.

🎯 Jared Goff OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

To cap off the parlay, let’s ride with Jared Goff.

He’s hit this mark in three straight games, including blowouts and road matchups. Now he’s back home, in a revenge game, facing a defense that’s strong but exploitable through the air.

This isn’t about Goff playing angry — it’s about execution. He’s surrounded by playmakers, and Tampa’s defensive stats set up nicely for this prop: 10 passing TDs allowed through six games, compared to just four rushing TDs.

Baker Mayfield and the Bucs offense should keep pressure on the scoreboard, forcing Detroit to keep pace — which plays right into Goff’s hands.

    💰 The Picks

    • Lions Team Total OVER 30.5
    • Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 25.5 Receiving Yards
    • Jared Goff OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Parlay those three and turn $100 into $400.
