The Green Bay Packers are now 3-1-1 after beating the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season

It wasn't perfect, but anyone who expects perfection doesn't understand the realities of the NFL. It also wasn't a "statement win" from the Green Bay Packers, and that's something that can be discussed, but ultimately, you never complain about a win in the NFL. The Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 27-18, and that's ultimatly all that matters.

A few months from now if and when the Packers are playing in the NFL playoffs, the ins and outs of this game won't matter. The only thing that will matter is that it was a win on the schedule. It was also a two-score win, which is harder to do in the NFL than most casual fans think.

The Packers are now 3-1-1 and they're back on the winning side of the column.

These four players will go down as the players of the game for the Pack.

Star #4: Tucker Kraft is everything you look for in a star tight end

Tucker Kraft "YAC and Cheese" is so good, it's almost unbelievable. The Packers haven't had a tight end like Kraft in years, and there's absolutely a case to be made that he's going to have a much better career than Jermichael Finley ever did.

Kraft had another great game against the Bengals. He caught just two passes, but he totaled 43 yards (21.5 yards per catch) and one of those catches was one of the grittiest catch-and-run touchdowns you'll probably see all season.

Star #3: Let's give kicker Lucas Havrisik some credit

Who is Lucas Havrisik? Well, he's not Brandon McManus and until Sunday afternoon, he hadn't attempted a field goal in the NFL since 2023.

McManus had to watch the Packers' win over the Bengals on the sidelines, though, because of a right quad injury. General Manager Brian Gutekunst signed Havrisik to the 53-man roster on Saturday, and the Packers threw him to the wolves a day later.

It was a windy day in Lambeau Field, but Havrisik was as steady as they come for the Packers in place of McManus. He hit both of his field goal attempts, with a long of 43, and was also a perfect 3-for-3 on extra points.

Star #2: Matthew Golden is close to breaking out for the Packers

There are obviously high expecations on Matthew Golden. Being the Packers' first wideout selected in the first round since basically the turn of the century will lead to that.

Golden has yet to find the end zone as a Packer, but it's easy to see he's a superstar in the making.

He continues to make bigger and bigger plays for this offense, so it's easy to predict that he's going to breakout and find the end zone sooner rather than later.

Despite not getting a touchdown against the Bengals in Week 6, Golden made several huge catches for the Packers, and he's clearly developing chemistry with Jordan Love.

Golden caught three catches for 86 yards against the Bengals, leading the Packers in receiving for the first time in his young career.

Star #1: Josh Jacobs once again looks like an All-Pro running back

The hope heading into this game was that Josh Jacobs would come out of the bye looking like a force for the Packers, and he did all of that and more in this win.

Jacobs is such a stabilizing force for this offense, and he's almost automatic as a runner in the red zone.

He rushed 18 times against the Bengals for 93 yards and two touchdowns, averaging a monster 5.2 yards per carry. The Packers are also getting him much more involved in the passing game this season, though, and that paid off for them in this one.

Jacobs caught five passes on five targets for 57 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per carry.

In total, Jacobs finished with 150 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. He's an absolute star.
