Who has been the Green Bay Packers' most prominent breakout player this season?

The Green Bay Packers are 2-1-1 coming off of their bye week and haven't actually won a game since Week 2, but they remain one of the top Super Bowl contenders thanks to their loaded roster.

While all eyes have been on Jordan Love and Micah Parsons through the first five weeks, some of the Packers' most productive players — ones that aren't exactly household names — seem to have slipped through the cracks.

Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon has identified who he feels is actually Green Bay's top breakout player thus far in 2025, handing that title to wide receiver Romeo Doubs.

"Jordan Love has also made strides in his third year as a starter, but it's Doubs who already has four touchdowns in four games as the quarterback's top target in that receiving corps," Gagnon wrote. "The fourth-year fourth-round pick is likely to set career highs across the board in 2025."

Doubs has received a golden opportunity to prove himself this season with both Jayden Reed and Christian Watson sidelined, and he has certainly seized it, particularly in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys when he reached the end zone three times.

On the season overall, Doubs has logged 13 catches for 179 yards, which aren't exactly gaudy numbers. But perhaps his performance in Dallas will further elevate his standing with Love and the offense heading into Week 6 and beyond.

A former fourth-round pick, Doubs entered the NFL in 2022 and caught 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns in Year 1. He followed that up by hauling in 59 receptions for 674 yards and eight scores during his sophomore campaign, and last season, he snared 46 balls for 601 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games.

Doubs actually expressed some displeasure over his role in 2024, and with the Packers selecting both Matthew Golden and Savion Williams in the 2025 NFL Draft, his part in Green Bay's offense became that much murkier heading into his fourth season.

However, the 25-year-old is proving that he is still a vital component to the Packers' aerial attack, and now, there is actually some chatter that Green Bay could extend him before he hits the free-agent market next March.

The Packers will face the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
