The Green Bay Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 6 to improve to 3-1-1 on the season.
QB Jordan Love had one touchdown and one interception against the Bengals, earning him a C+ grade from NFL analyst Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report.
Love went 19/26 through the air for 259 yards against the Bengals.
"With the 2:32 remaining and the Bengals down by only one score, Love extended a 3rd-and-9 play by rolling to his left, resetting his feet, launching a pass just before being hit by defensive end Joseph Ossai and completing a 31-yard pass to rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden," Sobleski wrote. "The play allowed the Packers to push into field-goal territory and create a two-score lead with under two minutes remaining."
Love has nine passing touchdowns and two interceptions on the season. He's completing 70.1% of his passes. The 26-year-old has thrown for 1,259 yards in five games.
Love is healthy again, so he's been able to use his legs more this season to escape pass rushers and throw on the move.
"It puts that extra layer of pressure on the defense," Love said. "That's something that I had to focus on coming into the season was trying to use my legs more and extend some of these plays."
Love did throw a bad interception in the Bengals game, trying to force the ball into tight coverage. That's something he can't do moving forward .
"We're in field-goal range, we have points, so if it feels like it's going to be a tight window or I'm not very confident in it, just throw it away, live to fight another day," Love said. "Tried to make it happen, didn't work and it came back to bite us on that play. That was the message from the coaches. Just be smart right there."
Love and the Packers face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. The Cardinals are only 2-4, so Green Bay will be favored to win that game.
