The Baltimore Ravens fall to 6-7 on the season despite a surge against the Steelers in the fourth quarter.

The Baltimore Ravens are now 6-7 on the season. They fell from first place in the AFC North and have fallen out of the Wild Card. Granted, there is plenty of football left to play, but a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers places more pressure on Baltimore.

From the start of the game, it looked like the Ravens were coming out strong. Some quick runs from Derrick Henry and a 31-yard bomb from Lamar Jackson to Zay Flowers started the day off right.

Unfortunately, the strong Steelers defense came out strong, stalling the drive. The Ravens would settle for a 3-0 start.

Pittsburgh then took over, carving up the secondary on a 53-yard bomb from Rodgers to DK Metcalf.

The Ravens offense would then struggle, punting on the next two drives, and the third resulting in a costly interception from Jackson.

Following a 17-3 run for the Steelers, Jackson and company would come alive near the end of the second quarter, cutting the lead to 17-9 on a rushing touchdown from Jackson.

Jackson looked to be moving well, a lot better than in past games. He would end the day with 61 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.

Despite a back-and-forth nature from both teams, both would trade touchdowns in the third quarter.

Heading into the fourth quarter, the Ravens were trailing 27-19 folllowing a drive and field goal.

Jackson and company could not get past the Steelers' pass rush, and their fourth-quarter surge ended in a turnover on downs.

The Ravens would get the ball back in the waning minutes of the fourth, but Jackson was sacked to end the game.

Week 14 proved a huge improvement for Jackson in terms of the run game, but the passing game left a lot to be desired.

Flowers ended the day with 124 yards, but the rest of the receivers did not notch anything over 30 yards.

A injury of note was for running back Keaton Mitchell. After a huge 55-yard run, he got up gingerly. Shortly after, he was questionable with a knee injury.

Mitchell would be ruled out in the third quarter.

The Ravens will get a chance to rebound in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
