The final injury report for the Baltimore Ravens contains a surprise player being ruled out.

The Baltimore Ravens have released their final injury report for the matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which contains an upgraded status for Lamar Jackson, but a surprising player is being ruled out.

Jackson appeared on the injury report due to an ankle injury, and missing practice on Thursday led to some concern about his status for Week 14. However, the star quarterback indicated he had stepped on and "felt good."

Jackson spoke to the media on Friday and indicated that his ankle was nothing to be worried about, but also decided not to reveal which of his teammates was the one who stepped on him.

Despite the concern about missing a day of practice, Jackson indicated he was simply wanting to rest his ankle on Thursday.

With Jackson being upgraded, the injury report contained one surprise player being ruled out.

On Wednesday, head coach John Harbaugh indicated that safety Ar'Darius Washington had a chance to return to the field in Week 14. Now, he has been ruled out.

Washington was a full participant in practice on Friday, but it appears he was not ready to fully go.

Linebacker Tavius Robinson was also ruled out. Harbaugh indicated Robinson would be held out of Week 14, but there was a chance that Washington would finally make his regular season debut.

Washington suffered an Achilles injury in May, which has kept him out for the 2025 season thus far.

The Ravens' secondary remains a strength of the team, with Kyle Hamilton playing a very good season. Alohi Gilman was also brought in, which is likely a big indicator of why the team is not rushing to get Washington back on the field.

When he returns, he may be used in the safety position or in a slot corner position, but returning in Week 14 will not happen.

The good news is that Robinson and Washington may be ready to go for Week 15. If the Ravens retain first place on Sunday by beating the Steelers, they will face the Cincinnati Bengals with an even better defense.
