Reid Earns Community MVP Honors Again

Saints safety Justin Reid has been named the NFLPA Community MVP for Week 6, making this the second time in his career he’s won the award. 

Per CSC, Reid has earned the recognition for his “Fully Charged” initiative, a technology workshop held at the New Orleans Public Library designed to bridge the digital divide for underrepresented youth. As part of the award, the NFLPA will donate $10,000 to his JReid Indeed Foundation.

Reid already had earned the NFLPA Community MVP once before (Week 1, 2021) for relief efforts  following Hurricane Ida. His repeated recognition underscores how seriously he takes service off the field. Not just as a player, but as a civic leader.
