Despite another major investment sealed in the summer transfer window, Chelsea are not resting.

And without even reaching the middle of September, the English side have announced what will be their first reinforcement for 2026.

Chelsea spent over €328M to incorporate the players who joined their ranks this summer. Although on the other hand they were able to obtain €332M from sales, thus clearly balancing the books, the London team are not stopping in their search for players.

They maintain a large number of players in their squad and have many others out on loan in different places. And at Stamford Bridge, they have now just welcomed a new player into their ranks to bolster their squad for the future.

The London team have therefore now decided to get ahead of schedule and already have a new player in their ranks. Emanuel Emegha, a 22-year-old Dutch attacker, is the player who will arrive from Strasbourg with his signing sealed from 2026 onward.

This player is clearly making a difference within the English team. A man who will, in this case, land at the end of the season in the squad coached by Enzo Maresca, so his future has already been sealed pending the conclusion of this season.
