PSG is reportedly eyeing a Juvetus striker, contemplating a swap deal for loanee Randal Kolo Muani.
Sporting advisor Luis Campos is preparing moves to bolster Paris Saint-Germain's attack. The Parisian club is seriously considering signing Juventus striker Jonathan David, according to reports.
PSG is seeking a reliable replacement amid the potential departure of Gonçalo Ramos, who has drawn interest from clubs such as Atlético Madrid. This situation has led the Parisian leadership to consider a swap deal with Juventus.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, negotiations suggest that Randal Kolo Muani could return to Serie A as part of an agreement that facilitates the Canadian's move to PSG. "Head coach Luis Enrique positively values the North American attacker's knowledge of the French league following his successful previous stint with LOSC Lille," wrote Fichajes' Javier Parra.
PSG, Juventus Discussing Potential Swap Deal
The leadership of the French capital club believes its attacking structure needs renewal to maintain its competitiveness in the Champions League next year. Therefore, PSG sees this operation as a golden opportunity to address a surplus in its squad while strengthening the team.
Although the striker's performance in Italy has not met expectations — totaling seven goals and five assists — his quality remains intact. "Juventus has valued the player at a figure ranging between €25 million and €30 million to facilitate his immediate departure this summer," the cited outlet said.
From the Parc des Princes, they understand that recovering the best version of the Canadian striker under Enrique's guidance is a viable sporting challenge. The Asturian coach prefers to work with players who have already demonstrated their ability to adapt to the physical intensity characteristic of the French championship.
The player's situation in the Bianconeri squad has changed drastically due to a lack of continuity and the hierarchy imposed by Luciano Spalletti. Currently, David, 26, has lost his privileged spot in the starting lineup, clearly falling behind other attacking options such as Jeremie Boga.
This lack of playing time has caused his price to depreciate, allowing the Parisian club to negotiate from a position of financial advantage. La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that the Turin club is ready to sever ties with the attacker and secure significant financial gain.
