According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, this interest stems from Ousmane Dembele's complex contractual situation after he rejected several renewal offers.
Given Dembele's uncertain future, the sporting directorate led by Luis Campos has identified Olise as the ideal successor to maintain the competitive level at the elite level.
Head coach Luis Enrique has been the main advocate for this move, prioritizing the young Frenchman's profile over other high-profile options.
The Asturian coach believes Olise's versatility fits perfectly into his tactical scheme, bringing a freshness that other center forwards lack.
"The operation is simmering slowly in the offices, where PSG seeks to convince the Bavarian giant with a figure that would double what they originally invested," the cited outlet explains.
