Al-Ahli has joined Atletico Madrid in the race to sign PSG's Lee Kang-In during the summer transfer window, according to reports.

In search of Antoine Griezmann's replacement for next season, Atletico Madrid has drawn up a first list of names, among them PSG midfielder Lee Kang-In. The versatile player is courted by many teams. But for its part, the French capital club wishes to extend an offer to him.

Under contract until 2028, Lee, 25, does not yet know if he will be a Parisian next season. The South Korean international (46 caps, 11 goals) is courted by many clubs in Europe, but also in the Middle East.

He will be one of the hot cases for the capital club this summer. PSG wishes to extend him, but the player wants playing time to continue his development. The Namdong-gu native will therefore have an important choice to make this summer.

This Friday, the Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo takes stock of the list compiled by Atletico Madrid of potential replacements for Antoine Griezmann.

Among the names mentioned is that of Lee. The Spanish club appreciates the South Korean's profile. But it does not make him a priority, given the potential cost of the transfer.

"However, it is obvious that, between the enormous financial expense that would be necessary to get the Korean out of PSG and an option like that of Brandt, with no transfer fee, the favorable conditions of the latter weigh heavily in the balance," the Spanish outlet reports.

For its part, PSG wants to extend the player's contract because he still fits into the capital club's project, where Luis Enrique greatly appreciates him for his technical quality and versatility.

Al-Ahli is still closely following the case and wishes to sign the former Valencia player. For his part, the player wants more playing time and is asking the club to let him discuss with his suitors to choose the best option for the rest of his career, according to PSGInside-Actus.

At 25 years old, Lee is arriving at a small turning point in his career, and the next transfer window will be decisive.
