After a successful summer transfer window, Manchester United are not having the ideal start which they were looking for in the Premier league as they were only able to collect four points from their first three games in the league and only picked up their first victory against Burnley just before the International break.

With a fresh looking squad, manager Ruben Amorin will look to keep the momentum alive when United face Manchester City in the derby next weekend and pick up all three points against their city rivals.

Amidst all this, a video published by the Premier league social media sites shows Manchester United's latest signing Bryan Mbeumo clocking second fastest speed in the League this season giving faith to their supporters after missing a crucial penalty in the tie-breaker against Grimsby Town in the EFL cup which saw them get knocked out of the tournament.

Only Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Jackson Tchatchoua (37.3 kmph) was faster than the former Brentford man in the first three games of the season as Mbeumo clocked a top speed of 36.3 kmph during the 1-1 draw against Fulham.

After a fantastic 2024/25 season at Brentford the Cameroonian was one of the most wanted players in the premier league during the transfer window as a result United had to pay a £71 million transfer fee for the 26-year-old and has impressed Amorin ever since coming in.

Mbeumo scored his first league goal during their 3-2 win against Burnley which has given the team and the fans a much needed boost going into the international break and it is to be seen wether Mbeumo would be able to carry forward his form against their city rivals next Sunday.
