With Harry Maguire's contract due to expire next summer, the 32-year-old is expected to move on from Manchester United with growing interests from the Saudi league for the experienced defender.

Despite being a key figure in the dressing room, the United defender has only played 13 minutes in the premier league this season as Ruben Amorin has preferred Matthijs de Ligt, Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro and Noussair Mazraoui over Maguire till now.

If the Three Lions centre back decides to leave United after this season, the club will have to find a replacement and according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, United have set their sights on Athletic Bilbao centre back Dani Vivian who is also being targeted by Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

Vivian is said to have a release clause of £35 million(€40million), which is considered as a bargain in the premier league for a player of his calibre as a result the English clubs are looking to take advantage of the situation and sign the defender in order to strengthen their defence.

The 26-year-old defender has been greatly influential for Bilbao in the league this season as he hasn't missed a single minute for the Spanish side as they defeated Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis in the opening games of La Liga.

United's defence has been a matter of concern for some time now as they conceded four goals in the three league games they played this season and Vivian can be the answer to this problem which Amorin and the club management will look to address in the upcoming transfer windows.

Playing at a club of Manchester United's stature will definitely be a valued addition in the Spaniard's career which could be the deciding factor in choosing his future club as the Red Devils will most likely make a move for the 26-year-old in the summer of 2026.
