    With the summer transfer window in England closed, one can presumably term this window as a successful one for Manchester United as they spent approximately £170 million during the course of the summer transfer window becoming the third highest team on net spend in the premier league.

    During the course of the transfer window the Red Devils signed Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, Diego Leon, and Senne Lammens, Lammens being the last of the lot to arrive at Old Trafford.

    This transfer window can also be termed as a window of exits for United as Rasmus Hojlund completed his move to Napoli. Elsewhere, Antony completed his permanent return to Real Betis, Jadon Sancho secured a loan to Aston Villa and Harry Amass left to join Sheffield Wednesday.

    Although there has been a few failed transfers for the Manchester based club, German youngster Angelo being one of them.
