The derby is always a game where any football fan holds a lot of expectations from the side they support but unfortunately for the Manchester United faithful, things aren't exactly going their way for some time now.
After a summer spending of around £230 million and letting go of most of the last season's underperforming players it was expected that the Ruben Amorin led side would do better than last season but as it stands, United sit 13th in the Premier league after four games making this their worst start to a league season in 33 years.
This dreadful performance from the Man United side has drawn some harsh criticism from former United legend Roy Keane who was particularly upset with Luke Shaw's performance as he almost thrashed him with his words saying, "Shaw is an international footballer. For him to get caught out like that. I think Shaw has been getting away with murder for years at United. Always injured, never quite fit."
He also added, "We make excuses, then he gets a few games under his belt, then he's making decisions like he doesn't even want to tackle people."
Keane also did not hold back while talking about the team's lack of intensity during the game as he said, "I'm sick of repeating myself. You shouldn't be able to get out of bed for a week after a tough game. They're all walking off. Not one yellow card."
With the players at their helm, United surely does not lack the talent nor the quality but it is certain that the team is lacking belief and intent which is most important for any big club and as it stands they quickly need to put their woes behind and focus on the games ahead if they are to change things around this time round.
