Mitoma returns, March awaits selection, but Dunk's absence looms. Brighton face Spurs with key personnel changes.

Brighton face the uncertain task of travelling to Tottenham for a massive game at both ends of the table. Made even more prominent by the return of former Albion manager, Roberto De Zerbi, at Spurs.

The team news is relatively unchanged since last weekend's big 2-0 win over Burnley. Kaoru Mitoma is back and available to start. The Japanese international returned to the side on the bench last week.

The rise in form of fellow winger, Yankuba Minteh, has helped cover the left side very well. Minteh has been incredibly effective, and with Mitoma's return timed well, the duo could prove to be a key part of the run-in in the chase for European football. Brighton's attacking depth could well be the difference between many sides around them for the end of this season.

With players like Georginio Rutter, Danny Welbeck, and Pascal Gross being key creators for goals this season.

Solly March remains available for the Seagulls. The Englishman made his return to the squad last weekend, with a surprise appearance on the bench as an unused substitute. The future of March is one of the club's biggest questions.

Fans will forever wish for a glimpse of the prime March who took over the Premier League in 2022/23, as Brighton reached Europe for the first time in their history.

Fabian Hürzeler is back on the touchline for Spurs, as the German head coach saw out a ban last time out. Ironically, Albion ended up winning the game 2-0 under former player and current coach, Andrew Crofts.

Stand-in coach Crofts has become an influential member of the side in recent years.

On the other hand, Brighton captain Lewis Dunk is forced to miss out, as he continues to serve out his ban after an accumulation of yellow cards. Dunk's absence will be a frustrating one for him, as the nature of the yellow card he attained continues to feel unjust.

With that in mind, Albion kept a clean sheet with both Jan Paul Van Hecke and Olivier Boscagli as defenders last time out, and coming up against a lowly Tottenham side, who are bottom of the form table, Hürzeler will hope that a similar pattern can follow!

Finally, James Milner remains out, the Albion head coach has confirmed. Milner has become something of a star player at the club in recent times. The 40-year-old has established himself as a regular starter, aligning with the upturn in good form and fortune. It has to be said, it appeared as though Albion missed him against Burnley.

Despite the 2-0 win, they also conceded two disallowed goals, with some midfield play being very sloppy at times. The lack of Carlos Baleba can also be accounted for in the latter point.
