Rocker Steiner left no doubt about who’s leading the charge in the bareback riding as the 2025 PRCA regular season came to a close. The Weatherford, Texas, cowboy rode Penthouse Pro Rodeo’s “Cosmic Stardust” to win the final round of the Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls with an 88-point ride. Earlier in the week, Steiner won the second round as well with an 87-point ride on Three Hills Rodeo's “Tequila Queen.”

His season earnings now exceed $300,000, breaking the PRCA regular-season earnings record in bareback riding and giving him a commanding lead in the world standings heading into the 2026 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Steiner, a three-time NFR qualifier, is now well positioned to go after his first career gold buckle in Las Vegas.

Adding to his spotlight, Steiner’s story is now hitting the big screen with “Hell on Wheels,” a new documentary premiering October 8 and streaming exclusively on Cowboy Channel+ and YouTube. The film follows Steiner’s journey through the highs and lows of rodeo life, showing the fire that drives one of the sport’s most talked about young stars.

Viewers will get an up-close look at the highs of major wins, the challenges of travel and injuries, and the passion that fuels Rocker. All year, fans have spotted Rocker traveling the road in his unmistakable tour bus, wrapped with the series’ bold advertisement along the side. The rolling billboard has only fueled anticipation for the upcoming release. It’s been a year-long buildup that perfectly mirrors Steiner’s larger-than-life presence in and out of the arena.

The 2025 season has been a standout year for Steiner from the beginning. He added major victories at RODEOHOUSTON, the Greeley Stampede, and the Ponoka Stampede, among others.

Behind Steiner in the standings is Sam Petersen with $222,801.45. Bradlee Miller follows in third with $207,474.02. Former world champion Jess Pope sits fourth at $202,645.94, while Cole Franks rounds out the top five at $200,362.07. It has been an impressive year in the bareback riding, with five cowboys above the $200,000 mark in regular-season earnings.
