Aaron Rodgers faces the Green Bay Packers this weekend for the first time since getting traded in 2023.

The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football this weekend.

That means we get to see Aaron Rodgers face his old team for the first time since getting traded in 2023.

During his media session on Wednesday, Rodgers admitted that the game would have a different feel if it were at Lambeau Field.

The future Hall of Famer also said he still has a lot of love for the Packers organization.

"It would feel different if I was going back to Green Bay," Rodgers said. "I have a lot of love for the organization, but if we were playing in Lambeau, that would be a little different feeling for sure."

Rodgers appeared in 230 games with the Packers. He threw for 59,055 yards and 475 touchdowns in the regular season.

A four-time MVP, Rodgers played in 21 playoff games with Green Bay. He threw for 5,894 yards and 45 touchdowns.

Rodgers and the Packers won Super Bowl XLV against the Steelers. Rodgers won the Super Bowl MVP Award.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder, maybe," Rodgers said. "Have a lot of great memories from my time there. ... I grew up there. I spent 18 years there from 21 to 39, so I'm thankful for my time there.

"Obviously, would've loved to ride off in the sunset after a Super Bowl win, but that's not the way the league goes sometimes, and I knew the writing was on the wall when Jordan was picked, and as a matter of time, I happened to win MVP the first two years he was with us. But I knew at some point there would be a change, and if I wanted to play, it'd probably have to be elsewhere. So I understand the situation. We live and we learn."

In his first season with the Steelers, Rodgers has 1,270 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns and five interceptions. The four-time MVP is completing 68.6% of his passes.

"It's fun to be a part of this organization and the iconic Packers organization for so long, too," Rodgers said.

The Steelers are 4-2, while the Packers are 4-1-1.
