Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is making progress with his injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed Week 12's game against the Chicago Bears due to a fractured left wrist. However, Rodgers was a full participant in practice on Thursday, which points to him likely being available on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Rodgers has been a productive passer for the Steelers, completing 66.4 percent of his passes for 1,969 yards, 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

The 41-year-old is no longer the MVP he once was, but he is still playing at a high level and has helped Pittsburgh be a competitive team. Rodgers has been a major upgrade over the quarterback play from last season with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

The Steelers will need him to lead the way down the stretch as they are in a fight with the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC North title.

Pittsburgh and Baltimore are both 6-5 and still have two matchups against each other before the end of the season.

As the Steelers enter this stretch run, they will need to get the ball to wide receiver DK Metcalf more. Metcalf was acquired by Pittsburgh this offseason to be their top receiver.

The 27-year-old is talented and has had some big plays, but they have failed to get him consistently involved week in and week out.

Metcalf has 42 receptions for 573 yards and five touchdowns. He is an explosive receiver, and they need to find ways to get him more involved.

This may be Rodgers's last season in the NFL, and despite the injury, he is back on the field, and his play will be pivotal as the Steelers look to make it to the playoffs.

It all starts with Pittsburgh's matchup against the Bills on Sunday. Buffalo is one of the best teams in the AFC, led by reigning MVP Josh Allen. This will be a difficult matchup, as both teams need every win they can get for playoff seeding.

Winning the division is the easiest way to get in, as the Wild Card race in the AFC is tight. The Steelers will need to stack wins, including two crucial matchups against the Ravens.
