Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey was ejected during the second half of Sunday's win against the Bengals for punching receiver Ja'Marr Chase.
Ramsey told reporters after the game that Chase spit on him.
Ramsey and Chase were both flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct on third-and-1 before Ramsey punched Chase. Ramsey was ejected and escorted off the field by a Steelers staffer.
In the Bengals locker room, Chase said he didn't spit at Ramsey.
Chase, one of the most talented players in the NFL, finished with only three receptions for 30 yards against the Steelers.
The Steelers beat the Bengals by a final score of 34-12.
The Steelers are 6-4 on the season. They are in first place in the AFC North.
However, starting QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a left wrist injury against the Bengals and didn't return. It's unknown if the future Hall of Famer will play next week against the 7-3 Bears.
