marketing? What are you talking about? Cardano has probably the worst marketing of any coin out there. If anything they need to hire a PR and Marketing department lol. They are the top 3 on GitHub to commit every three months. They have arguably the largest decentralized community of developers to test code...not to mention SPO's, as we just saw last week.
