**Source: AdobeStock / Aleksey**Thank you so much for clicking and reading the latest, seems the US gave a warning to Japan that their exchanges and miners are still doing transactions with Russia. According to The Financial Times that reported that several "diplomats" were concerned that these domestic exchanges are still working with Russia, the japanese miners who have some rigs in Siberia are also still working and Washington wants the plug pulled ASAP, Mining operations from Japan are mostly secret and overseas, due to the high price of doing so in Japan. The FSA and the Ministry of Finance who are the regulators told Japan to stop transactions with Russia, but the US definitely wants more (go figure huh?) basically to stop ALL transactions or interaction with sanctioned Russia.
The US State Department stated that this warning is to make sure that Russia is held to account on the war on Ukraine and they are willing to take further measures.
I understand Russia is being sanctioned...but crypto? that is the worrisome part, its supposed to be DECENTRALIZED. That is the whole point of it and I feel that if a country can just lock you out of doing whatever you want with your tokens is not a good government. Then again crypto is not so regulated as of yet to create that freedom. Eventually,
Do you think this is a bold strategy from the US? or just another smoke-screen from them to make the world see they are still the "power country"? Drop me a comment below!!๐๐๐
