SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 54th edition

Dear BBSers    Sunday  was another great talk about BBS in our 54th edition of The Weekly Chat.  As usual we  are happy to have many members participating in front of board owners, moderators and of course the BBS CEO Eyal Hertzog.  This edition we had a good discussion ( except the bug from Twitter which created some problems) about the new weekly rapport Leaderboard mobile app migration installs, , how BBS is the best web 3 social media to build your community and  a marketing strategy for BBS presented by Eyal.  Leaderboard mobile app migration installs Recently we saw a briefing report about the mobile app installs where each board is ranked based on the number of mobile installs trough their unique community app link.  As we see the board Pro Choice is leading followed by Indfam,  Metabbs, Covid, Sativa, Sports, Charts, Techno, Theory , Banter, Gametech, Scite and Wtpap. The leading board has over 2 millions followers on Facebook, so it is normal to  see a higher number of installs, especially that in this community the anonymous feature is a hit and people are posting and commenting as anonymous. This is making BBS even more attractive.  BBS the best web 3 social media to build your own community.  As we know there are not many social media, but the majority are censored or centralized.  BBS came with the free option to create your own community in an uncensored , decentralized and demonopolized space.  Anyone who joins BBS can create their own community based on their favorite topic.  BBS already has some interesting communities of sport, movies, motivational, gaming, crypto based or even scientifical.  All you have to do is to start your own specific community and build it up.  There are a few easy steps to do this:  - Create a profile on bbs - Create your own community profile - Start sharing content about your topic - Remember to establish the guidelines for transparency and mitigating scam or fraud - Start your journey by spreading the word about your community  What can BBS offer?  - Free space to speak uncensored - Use/ choose one operator - functioning decentralized - All the information will be stored on a blockchain and will never be deleted - After a selection process your community can be funded with BBS tokens to help you grow it up and reward the best content Marketing strategy presented by Eyal Inspired by the other web 2 social media , Eyal and the bbs team is introducing free and deliberate video/record replies. On a platform fully decentralized with a fair dialog and not owned by a specific party.  This is the hidden gem of BBS to attract people’s attention.  Beside the fact that anyone can build its own community freely, the video/record reply will be a thing for people to create a direct debate .  Right now the team is planning a pilot test of this, a private community in Ebru  , where people are using this video/ record response.  As an example, how this will work check the below description: ☑️There will be 2 sides - A and B   ☑️Each side will record 1 minute video/record with their opinions ☑️After they share it, each of them will respond to each other.  ☑️There is a time limit of 180 seconds for each of the sides- so, in total around 7 minutes of debate.  ☑️All this will be seen by people and the best response may even be rewarded.  The big vision of this is to even bring influencers in a specific event to produce such video content. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 52th edition

Dear BBSers,  Even if our Twitter Space is not so populated sometimes,  we are trying our best to keep it constantly and offer to any member and curios the stability and trust about BBS .  So, last Sunday was another edition of The Weekly Chat on Twitter Space.  The number of the people were not so high, but we had a good talk about what is going on BBS.  The main topic was the new feature on BBS to comment and post anonymously.  This update is  a part of BBS's road map for 2023 for the Q1 plan.  The feature is available to be used since last week and it had a big success in the Pro-Choice & Support community.  Numerous posts and comments done anonymously were making the board to become hot and very active both inside and outside BBS. Some of their posts have more than 3000 views and is amazing.  The anonymous feature gives the people: - more freedom to express themselves and to be open - don't worry to loose their reputation or being judged by others  - go more deeply in conversation  The anonymous will be used mostly of the communities like PROCHOC, UUNET or any other controversial topic.  As we talked last week as well, this is something unique in the social media world and as we all agreed with Eyal, this is one that thing that starts to make BBS unique and authentic.  We need a lot of unicity and authenticity on BBS and I hope one day BBS will have a lot of this.  Our second topic referred to the general question : Why do we need decentralization and why we need BBS?  THE DEFINITION OF DECENTRALIZATION: The transfer of control of an activity or organization to several local offices or authorities rather than one single one. It is the architecture in which the workloads, both hardware, and software, are distributed among several workstations. Why  we need a decentralized network like BBS?  - In a decentralized network like BBS the user who wants to share some data do not need any permission and all the information he shares are stored in a data base - in our case blockchain- are kept on track and no one can delete them .  - there is less censorship - users can express themselves more freely.  - On BBS you can build your own community and drive it as you wish. There is no central power you can depend on and can choose to talk about any topic you want.  The centralization is at a lower level and the decentralization is growing higher and higher.  - One important things : decentralization is highly secured and it is very hard for a hacker to break in multiple servers.  There is  only disadvantage is that there can be shared harmful data anonymously  and the information will get lost.  BBS is in essence a decentralized and censorship free network and we hope it will attract many users in the future.  The BBS price was another topic of discussion.  It looks like the price has found a support and everyone hopes for a bounce from here .  Some of us are close to the buying zone and can't wait to cash out BBS to a good price.  While we were in the chat the price of BBS bounced and this might be a prove that our efforts are heard and BBS starts to be a more and more trustful token to transaction and hold it.  let's hope we will see its price soon to all time high and even more.  A special request from the Sativa's owner in the name of all communities owners: they want a referral link for the app , so they can share and grow up the number of installations of the app - thing that will help BBS grow.  This was heard and couple of minutes ago it was shared a post about it - CHECK THE PINNED POST AND READ ABOUT THIS.   That's great and exciting to see reactions and answers to the community.  Thank you for joining the chat and see you next time in Twitter Space 👉Follow @bbs_weekly on Twitter here  Listen the whole Twitter Space here   HAVE  A GREAT WEEK EVERONE  💥Kryptokitty (Administrator and Host The Weekly Chat)💥Mar 7, 2023

SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 51th edition

Dear BBSers ,   Sunday 26 February was another great talk about BBS.  It was interesting to remember its utility and what problems can be resolved, but also to talk about the new road map shared last week.  We are happy to have many members participating in front with board owners, moderators and of course the BBS CEO Eyal Hertzog.  🔥 HOT TOPICS 🔥 ✔️What problems can BBS Network solve?    1.Ensure freedom of expression, collaboration and liberty trough open database technology Bbs was created as a fully decentralized and censorship resistant message bulletin board inspired by Reddit's  content. Its nature of being censorship resistant is determined by the fact that all BBS users , content and wallets can always be recovered and never be deleted.  Bbs is allowing the information to be accessed on  the blockchain by everyone and it will never be deleted.  Any post, comment, editing, reaction are registered permanently and even if the board owners or moderators will hide any post or comment, they will be visible on a blockchain ensuring transparency and censorship free.    2. BBS is giving   powering the content creators and their community of followers giving them the possibility to earn for their content and contribution automatically within the ecosystem.  Right now BBS becomes a true Web3 social media platform where anyone from anywhere can make a community about any topic in a decentralized way  and run it as it wishes on their domain controlling the revenue sharing between members and content policies.  ✔️ The updated road map for 2023 The road map is shared for 4 quarters.  1Q PLAN  The plan for the first quarter is almost accomplished : we had the engagement mining updated, the  app, the anonymous participation and the Video/audio responses.  We have witnessed the update about the engagement mining and the release of the app.  2 things that everyone got used to by now.  🔸 The anonymus participationWhat was more exciting to this quarter is the anonymous participation who can give the liberty to the free speech by commenting or posting as anonymous.  The anonymous option comes as a solution to the people who do not want to make  a profile on BBS or the ones who want to be more direct in commenting and replying to posts.  We have talked about its benefits and one of them is that anyone is more free to say what he/she thinks without being connected with a profile. There will be more real and truthful opinions.  Another helpful thing is that this gives the possibility to the people to get to know BBS before becoming a member.  Everyone has a choice :   experiencing BBS without making a profile.  This can be considered as a privilege or a unique thing because there is no social media who gives you the chance to post and comment without having a profile.  Of course the anonymous participation in conversation or posting will be under the approval of the board admin and moderators. They have the power over a post publication or  comment to approve or decline it.  🔸Video Audio responses - I think this is the opponent of the anonymous option.  Whyle with anonymous participation you choose to keep your identity hidden , with video/audio response you choose to be you , to share with the people your identity.  This will make any content more interesting and the interaction at its maximum.  Q2 PLAN For the 2nd quarter it is planned the cash tipping, social capital bonuses and social capital profile.  🔸🔸Cash tipping / Super Comments with real money in BBS is one of the most expected solutions to reward comments and posts.  As we know, not all the people are partnered and earn from each post, but once we have this option the board owners will have  a ‘’Tipping Pool’’ for tipping board users for their genuine discussion / Super Comments or content.  On the other hand this might generate fraud from some members. That's why the board owners have to work closely with the fraud team to prevent such fraudulent behavior.  We are waiting impatiently to see this implemented.  🔸🔸Social capital -Bonuses and Social Capital -Profile It is a feature to give the members the possibility to connect directly from BBS to their other social media accounts. This will help to validate the members trust and prevent fraud over the network.  It is an involuntary check of KYC ( Know Your Customer).  Regarding the KYC on BBS we have discussed that this should be done in a safe and organic way. The most safe way to KYC in Eyal’s opinion and after serious discussions with some of the team members is to validate for each other.  One member can validate another member if they know each other in real life, something that can hardly be fake.  A good example was :  if you lose all your ID  documents the only way to prove that you are is if your friends and family can validate your identity.  We agreed that is one of the best solution to KYC the members and we are on board with it.  Q3 PLAN  🔸🔸🔸Premium subscription : will be a demo for the SDK and anyone will be allowed to open a premium subscription and provide premium content where only the subscribers will have access.  How this will work?  It is running under the 3rd part SDK  content format. Payment method - credit card. To have access for subscribe you need to be  a member. There will be fees collected  and converted into BBS - All the money will come directly to your bank account minus some fee that is sent to the provider of the billing service. The provider of the service is selected by the domain owner and will have an agreement over the fee. The price of the community will be settled by each community.  Will this give utility for BBS token ? The whole utility of subscription will be to bring many more users to BBS  - is more as a promotion of BBS. 🔸🔸🔸Share upgrade  This will be  a better upgrade to sharing function in order to spread the word about BBS , but also to  be able to count the number of shares made ( on social media) by the community admin. The community admin will see which user has shared more or less. Track click per click.  Q4 PLAN🔸🔸🔸🔸Migration mining The team is more interested  about how many  installs has the app than about how many members have joined joining . There are 2 reasons:  - It is impossible to fake them  - Compensation people who bring app installs This can be in the future an upgrade of the engagement mining.  Maybe sharing a weekly summary of the data on Metabbs will be done in order to see  who is driving more app installations. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 50th edition- ANNYVERSARY CHAT

Dear BBS members,  Last Sunday was another great talk about BBS and its journey as a web 3 network.   It is great to see many people interested in supporting and helping to make it grow.  We were also celebrating the 1 year Anniversary of The Weekly Chat and got a nice present to see the price of BBS tokens increasing while we were doing the chat.  We dared to be called the BBS Avengers as we fight every week to get what’s best of it.  I remind you also that the BBS went 5x in the last 3 weeks and this is a positive vibe for investors and members. Many  original investors ( people who bought BBS one year ago at the price of $0,033 ) were in profit and it was a good opportunity to sell. As Eyal said, it was surprising to see the price touching the$ 0.055.  Was this because of our move as well on Twitter Space? Are there big investors who got interested in BBS?  Some questions that we wish to get a real answer.  The presence of the BBS CEO Eyal Hertzog was also a good impact to spread the word about BBS. It feels nice to see the CEO involved to join and talk about the BBS’s  future plans.  Our meeting started with a talk about the a feedback of the latest update, an update that encourages the board owners and members to grow up the communities and attract more and more members.  The update has more pros than cons and everyone expects to see an improvement.  As we talked, the update is beneficial to fight against any fraudulent activity and encourage the communities to grow up.  Many board admins are doing their part and are trying to get in more and more members on the platform and this is the main goal.  If you want to hear about this, listen to the Twitter Space in the first hour of it.  We were also happy to have Eyal join in the meeting and share about the latest ideas and future updates on BBS.  Here is what he shared and you can hear everything starting with the 1h and 49 minutes on Twitter Space.  New updates  User experience to get into a video similar to Tik Tok - every video can have responses in the videos with other videos like a comment, focused on the most popular response. - for this it is a good collaboration with the founder of the movement  We the people, Patrik Byrne. The anonymous comment and posts - anyone can comment and post anonymously with the approval of any board admin or moderator. Super Comments - this is interesting because it has dollar value in the sense of tipping with BBS tokens. . You can tip someone’s comments - it will allow the communities to try different strategies and see what is the best working.  It might be as an Income source for the community and Eyal gave an example of the Super Chats from Youtube.  👀 A  new road map release is on the way soon ( maybe this week) now after the app got stable and the team has less work - it is  official and gives estimates, but remember that it can suffer changes because we are in a testing phase.  So the road map will be more as a guidance, not following step by step.    Questions/Requests from the audience:  🤔 Is BBS going to have any NFTs listed on Open Sea?  Eyal answered that they support NFTs, but do not exist on BBS. Having NFTs will happen to having  a wallet and remembering passwords, things that people do not like . This will not encourage the BBSs audience to join.   🙏 A special request from the BBS board owners and moderators, but also by the members is that there should be more information shared on Metabbs about the BBSs road map. This will help the board owners to try to grow up the  communities if they have a strong back up of information about what BBS stands for, but in a more detailed, specific and practical way.  The development team is kindly requested,  if is poss, to stay in touch with the board owners and people who are interested in helping BBS grow, by sharing periodical information with a status about the development . BBSERS,  The 49th edition of The Weekly Chat just ended yesterday on the Twitter Space.  It is interesting and exciting to see that our move on Twitter has many views and we can help to spread the word about BBS Network.  We hope we will help to increase the number of new members and motivate them to stay on the platform.   This is everyone’s mission : starting from the board owners to the end users.  Talking more and more about BBS outside of the platform will help to make it heard and wake up people’s curiosity.  HOT TOPICS:  As usual we are discussing what is happening around the week on BBS.  🟢 First topic was about what made the price of BBS increase up to 4x in just 24h.  It was a crazy jump, but lovely to see that there are investors interested to give it a chance.  We presumed that the price went up because of more factors like: - The Satoshi Roundtable where the CEO of BBS was invited - The Weekly Chat who moved for the first time on Twitter and has been viewed over 700 times - The availability of the app in Android and IOS store - The listing of BBS on BitKan Now,  the price has to remain stable, but as we talked, we expect the ending of staking quarter to drop the price as everyone who staked will receive their rewards and mostly will try to sell because there is still a 2x price.  It is important to remain to a certain support and consolidate, so we start having a pattern. ' 🟢🟢 A second topic was about the app's latest news regarding its functionality.   The app is available for everyone who uses Android or IOS, but there is still work in progress.  Small or big  bugs are occurring , but the team is ready to investigate any reports about it.  As we spoke about its functionality and usability by the moderation team of a board, it is not something that can help it.  The moderation is impossible from the app as the moderators actions like ban, hide , settle the flair etc, are missing, so everyone who has a board and moderators have to use the web version to have access to those actions. It will be great to have all those in the app ASAP because we need full functionality on both app and web.  On the other side, the end users are more satisfied and are using the app successfully. We know that the development team is working hard to make it fully functional and everyone appreciates it .   🟢🟢🟢 The 3rd topics was about adapting to the new update.  As I mentioned in the previous Summary , most of the board owners are happy and embrace it.  It was a necessary step and this will help them to grow up more organically communities and a better focus on engagement.  Most of the boards have started to adapt to it more and more and  have reviewed their activity.  The main focus  now for the board owners is to grow the number of unique members and get the most organically engagement.  The organic engagement will be the main reason to make the new members stay, but also will increase the value of the board.  Looking forward to see  how fast and good this change will be transformed into a success.  Don’t forget that this update is not the only one and there are many waiting in line.  If you want to join and help BBS improve itself, don’t miss our weekly meeting  on Twitter Space. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 48th edition

BBSERS,  As you have noticed , BBS had many changes lately and The Weekly Chat,  to be in trend with this, had to refresh as well.   That is why from last Sunday’s 48th edition we have migrated/moved to the Twitter Space.  We have done this in the hope to promote BBS more and make it heard by many people.  So, anyone who has a Twitter account can join as a speaker or listener.  We don’t know how successful it was, but it will be great if from 737 views and 7 retweets  it will bring 1% of new members.  We have also seen a pump today, but wasn't for  sure because of this chat, but mostly because the BBS owner, who joined in our meeting from Twitter was live from, a  close event Satoshi Roundtable where, probably, some interesting crypto names have been presented.  The last edition of the Weekly chat had the major subject about the latest and drastic update on BBS :  Version 4.1 - Engagement Mining Update & Moderation Activity The main point of the update is coming with a huge change about the communities engagement mining and rewards distribution.  How are those calculated is detailed explained in the update post on Metabbs where you are invited to check it here.  The present board owners in the Weekly Chat were happy  and consider it as a better way to get rid of  the communities's  spam posts and fake impressions.  On the other hand, in order to keep their community interest and growth they will need to work more to bring new unique members to their community.  This will not be easy, but they are ready to work for it.  Boards like Banter and Charts bring a lot of value by getting a lot of unique members and will always be compensated with a higher CPM than the small boards who stagnate bringing new  active unique members. (Even if their content will be good, if they will not grow in unique members daily, they will be compensated with a lower CPM based on this).   As per Eyal Hertzog’s confession , the update was necessary to get rid of and reduce the fraud activity impressions and simplify the fraud team job.  This will probably help to reduce fraud and make the platform more organic. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 46th edition

Dear BBS members,  The Weekly Chat - 46th edition - ended Sunday 22 January 2023.  Our topic was to discuss about growing the communities and how we can make that happen.  Unfortunately we could not find  a real answer, as BBS is lacking of a vision and we can't really get any idea how we can promote it to invite members.  It is true that each community has its own topic and that can  help, but we have a problem to keep them on the platform and that is the rewards selection for posting.  We have talked that it should be rethanked and done it in everyone's benefit if this is going to work, otherwise we will end up spammed and frauded many times.  Regarding fraud, this is a hot topic and trend on BBS :  The members make fraud , the fraud team finds out and ban or freeze the accounts, the banned or freeze accounts are making new or subaccounts. this sounds like an infinite game.  I wonder who will win 😅.  Unfortunately , because of this issue, our chat was interrupted by some members who have joined and asked to be listened because they are innocent.  We asked  someone from the fraud team to join and help with this, but have been advised to ignore those members . No one from the fraud team will join to talk with them. So, if you join again for this, don't get any hope that you will be listen - once your account was frozen, you will never get unfrozen even if you might not be involved.  So, in conclusion: you waste your time asking this or trying to rejoin BBS. Forget about it because it is not for you anymore once you have been banned/frozen.  We talked also a little bit about if BBS is centralized or decentralize:  Well as a big picture it is not centralized, but each community is centralized in essence: we centralized the members, the posts , the scores of the board etc. Everything is and stays forever on the blockchain.  More than that, it is controlling everything :  BBS has operators that have the on/off button and can blow everything in a second. The best example is the power to ban/frozen accounts, to stop the impression counting for a certain member, even shut down the whole BBS platform  ( if the BBS CEO wish this). Interesting, isn't it?  The last thing we have mentioned was the new big expected community of Patrick Byrne, who officially introduced the BBS community to his Twitter community.  Here, we have  to mentioned and make a remark that in the video is stated that there is no censorship on BBS, but be careful because BBS has some limitation when is about racism, porn and gambling subjects.  In the end we need to keep a limit for everything.  That is why the new community has to be aware of those rules and take care not to get over them.  Well, all the chat was fun  and sad for some ( the frozen accounts who were disappointed that they got no clarification or answer to their questions) , so see you next time.  HAVE  A GREAT WEEK EVERONE  💥Kryptokitty (Administrator and Host The Weekly Chat)💥Jan 24, 2023

SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 45th edition

HELLO EVERYONE,  After a winter holiday of 3 weeks , we are back to normal to our WEEKLY CHAT.  I hope everyone has had a good celebration for the New Year and may all your plans came true.  Sunday, 15th January, was the 45th edition for The Weekly Chat and many members have gathered to discuss about what is happening on BBS.  I can say that because of the lately high number of frozen accounts , we have been ambushed by the members who got the account frozen and who were asking for a more clear explanation.  I want to mention few things regarding this and also based on what we have discussed there: - making fraud is the first most NOT TO DO thing on BBS - this will just harm your reputation and trust -  the BBS has a  fraud team who is watching when we are not expecting, so any fraudulent activity that someone has planned will be discovered sooner or later - people who are accused of any fraud, are banned or have frozen account, should wait patiently an answer from the BBS fraud team .  In the same time, the BBS's CEO , Eyal Herzog showed up talking about the BBS new roadmap. - It looks like the app launch is one of the things from the list to be prioritized and if the present version hasn't significant bugs, it will be release soon -  no idea  about the exactly time.  - Another thing from the road map , is the tipping option for best posts. This will be integrated in the system and anyone, starting with the owner boards will be able to tip the best posts. It will be curious how this will work , but as we are always told, BBS is in the pilot phase and everything is a testing.  There is also need to mention, that a new and big  community is going to starts it's activity from the next weekend.  Hopefully we can see more members on BBS and move forward to better days.  It looks like lately it is very quiet and we need some noise.  Looking forward for this.  We tried to keep the chat to its established time of 1,5h, so the discussions have not been deep, but have been efficient. SUMMARY OF THE WEEKLY CHAT - 44th edition

Dear BBS members,  We are almost to the end of the year of 2022.  Last week was our last Weekly Chat meeting from this year. It was the 44th edition and we are very proud that we have been there every Sunday for anyone who was interested to discuss BBS.  From new members, moderators, board admins to even the BBS team members, mostly the BBS’s CEO Eyal Hertzog, we all have joined this Chat and try to contribute as much as we could to improve the development and success  of BBS.  Last edition was a very exciting one, as we remembered how BBS was one year ago and how many changes we have faced. Most of us who joined in the chat have been here for one year or almost one year. This was an entire journey since we joined.  ✅For example Crypto Rasta created the SATIVA community one year ago and last week they  celebrated the first anniversary. We hope to celebrate the 10th anniversary and many more. Keep up SATIVA 💪 ✅ Also, one year ago, the largest community of BBS, Crypto Banter, joined as well . They also celebrated their first anniversary in November. Congratulations and all the best.  Unfortunately, Banter has lost its momentum once new communities have been formed and the biggest update of BBS -Great Reset - was done.   But the owner, No Control, is determined to make  a stronger and better comeback. It looks like the app has motivated him to be back in business. . We haven’t seen too much activity because they are still struggling to decide the real topic.  If anyone has any suggestion , DM to No Control or even share it here in the comments section.  In the meantime have been  created more and more communities with a specific topic and very successful ones like: ✅ MWATALK - the first movie board- was created in March 2022 and became one of the most popular ones lately. This is the second movie  board as we have the METV who was created months after MWATALK.  ✅Then we saw the first sports board created in May 2022 , SportX community. This was created for all  the sports lovers and became the number one sport board on BBS.  ✅ Of course how can we forget the first big community in the BBS Star Wars community.  A community which joined in March 2021 and who has a very close topic- talk about Star Wars movies. We have met some of the board admins and they are wonderful people who kept that community alive and protected by the big wave of Banter Community. ( When Banter community joined, many scam members and post ravaged the board, but the admins managed to keep it clean in the end. The team works literally day and night to fix all the bugs and release the idea version.  In this Weekly Chat edition Eyal appeared with a successful and  controversial business man who is going to make his own community on BBS.  I can't give a name , but if Eyal wishes, he can write in the comments section and share with everybody.  We are all welcoming him and the community on BBS and give our support if he needs it.  We are also waiting for this community name to start following it.  Good luck and hopefully BBS will grow up.  SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:  As I and other members from BBS observed, many members partnered or not are leaving us messages in case they have problems home, go to holiday, have exams or be a while away from BBS - this is a nice gesture, but not a necessary one. Regarding this READ :  - you are not working for BBS - you are not a community employees , but members. We are all equal when is about how much we spend or not on BBS - any missing of couple of days or week son BBS will not affect your partnership or stop  becoming a member. Your good content and meaningful interaction is what it keeps your profile partnered or in the loop to be a possible partner.  - we are all humans and have  a real life - BBS is just our hobby and that's all. Don't make it a work place.
