Agroha, Hisar (Haryana), India

The site of Agroha is traditionally believed to be the capital of the legendary king Maharaja Agrasena of the Agarwal community.

The city of Agroha was located on an ancient trade route between Taxila and Mathura. Thus under Firozshah Tughlaq Hisar remained an important center of commercial and political activity until the establishment of a new city called Hisar e Firoza (Hissar).
