Taj Mahal

Every year, the Taj Mahal, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, draws an average of 8 million visitors. This memorial, which was erected in 1648 in honour of Shah Jahan's late wife, was done so.

Since then, the spectacular monument made of white marble has attracted a great deal of attention for its majesty and architecture.

The Archaeological Survey of India declared (on December 28) that the daily visitor limit would be 40000.
