Death Valley

Raistreck Playa Lake is located on the territory of the American national Park "Death Valley". This place is considered the hottest place on the planet - the highest temperature on earth is recorded here - +57 degrees. Despite the incredibly high temperature, according to some reports, there are more than a thousand different species of plants growing here and many animals that have adapted to the harsh climate. But the valley got its rather gloomy name not because of abnormal phenomena or severe weather conditions. The fact is that during the gold rush in 1849, immigrants from the eastern states were forced to pass through the valley to shorten the way to California. They did not know this and the area and wandered around the valley for several weeks in search of a way out. One of the travelers died. After the people got out of the valley, they said goodbye to her with words: "Goodbye! Death Valley!" - that's how the name stuck to this place. Since then, this lifeless, sun-scorched dry desert has attracted scientists, geologists and enthusiasts to these parts who are trying to solve natural riddles.
