Hill: financing of Ukraine is postponed due to the proceedings in the US with the debt ceiling

Washington may suspend military funding Ukraine for an indefinite period due to the situation with the debt ceiling, according to the columnist of the American edition of The Hill Brad Dress.

According to him, in this regard, the American government has decided to postpone the discussion of the next round of funding Kiev. In addition, the journalist added, another reason was the uncertain consequences of the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army.

Dress also recalled that on Thursday, May 18, the Pentagon discovered an accounting error that freed up an additional three billion dollars, but despite this, the remaining funds amount to less than 14 billion, and this amount will only be enough for Ukraine until September.

PS: when the United States decided to "help" Ukraine in the war with Russia, it apparently did not calculate its strength or was confident that Russia would give up its positions. The calculation was wrong. Getting involved in the war for their own interests, they simply drowned in debt.

I really hope that what is written in this article is true and the funding will stop, then we can wait for the end of the war in September.

Ukraine itself is a weak country led by its president. Without the support of third-party countries, they are "nobody". Many countries are already against the war. I hope the others will finally understand that you can't quarrel with Russia, you need to maintain friendly relations with it. Russia is always calm until it gets angry😂
