The TCU Horned Frogs have consistently sent players to the NFL over the years. Notable players drafted since 2000 include running back LaDanian Tomlinson (Chargers), receiver Jalen Reagor (Eagles), defensive end L.J. Collier (Seahawks), receiver Josh Doctson (Commanders) and receiver Quentin Johnson (Chargers).
The most prestigious all-star game in college football, the Senior Bowl, in Mobile, Alabama, invites the best players in college football to come and play in their game.
Three of Sonny Dykes finest will represent TCU at the Senior Bowl as linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr, safety Bud Clark and tight end DJ Rogers will suit up and play in Mobile.
One of the best linebackers in the country at stopping the run, Elarms-Orr racked up 130 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback pressures. He posted six games of double-digit tackles and was named first-team All-Big 12. In his career, Elarms-Orr registered 276 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss.
According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Elarms-Orr has graded out at 75 in coverage, 85 in tackling and earned an overall grade of 80.
Clark, considered a top pick in the NFL Draft, was fourth on the team in tackles with 56. He also added four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and seven pass breakups.
Clark has received high grades from PFF with a 90 in coverage and 89.8 overall grade, which ranked among the top three in the country at his position. A second-team All-Big 12 selection, Clark has posted career numbers of 214 tackles, 15 interceptions and 21 pass breakups.
Rogers was fourth on the team in receiving with 34 catches for 319 yards and two touchdowns. His two touchdowns came in victories over North Carolina and Baylor. He gained a season-high 60 yards in a loss to Arizona State. During his time at TCU, Rogers caught 53 passes for 539 yards and five touchdowns.
According to the Senior Bowl website, in 2025, 106 players were selected in the NFL Draft. 50 players were drafted in the first three rounds. All 32 NFL teams selected at least one Senior Bowl player. Of the Senior Bowl participants, 99 percent were either drafted or selected as undrafted free agent.
All of the above bodes well for Elarms-Orr, Clark and Rogers, who have taken the first step on the path to the NFL. It is the last opportunity for players to put on the pads and hit somebody, and to get evaluated in live game action before the NFL Draft in April. The draft process begins in Mobile.
