TCU improved to 12-7 on the hardwood as Big 12 play gets into full swing in the spring semester.

David Punch and Xavier Edmonds both recorded double-doubles as the TCU Horned Frogs edged out the Oklahoma State Cowboys 68-65 on Tuesday for their second win in Big 12 play.

The win snaps a four-game losing skid, with the Frogs' last win coming on Jan. 3 against Baylor. A matchup with the rival Bears is next on the docket for TCU on Saturday in Waco.

Against the Pokes, Punch scored a go-ahead basket that proved to be the game-winner with 6.3 seconds remaining. The sophomore forward finished the game with 22 points (tied for a career-high), 10 rebounds and three blocks.

The game-winning floater capped a 10-0 surge in the final four minutes to flip the script on the game just in the nick of time.

Edmonds totaled 18 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, as well, to team up with Punch for a stout one-two punch (ha!).

TCU jumped out to a 9-0 advantage to start the game, but Oklahoma State responded to take a a 41-37 lead into the halftime break. After the upset, OSU now drops to 14-5 on the season and 2-4 in conference play, matching the league record for the Horned Frogs.

"We have it in us!" yelled coach Jamie Dixon in the celebratory TCU locker room postgame. "That's a good team, really good team, alright? We got a good team on Saturday. It is what it is. We gotta come together now and build off this fellas, alright?"

Baylor sits at 11-7 on the season, but they've struggled in Big 12 play as they're tied for a conference-worst 1-5 record.

Last time out, Scott Drew's Bears were ran off their home court by Texas Tech, who hit 14 first-half three-pointers (a Big 12 record) and 17 for the game on 60 percent shooting from the field.

Baylor's roster notably includes former NBA Draft pick James Nnaji, who was signed mid-season once given unprecedented eligibility. But against the Red Raiders, he played just two minutes. Nnaji is averaging 12 minutes per game in his six appearances so far this season.
