Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) will visit Alabama (5-1, 3-0) on Saturday (7:30 p.m. EDT) as the Vols get the opportunity to win at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the first time since 2003. Here are five keys to a Volunteers win over the Crimson Tide:
A glaring weakness of this Volunteers’ team is the run defense. In Southeastern Conference play, Tennessee has given up 213.7 yards per game. Last week the Vols gave up 240 rushing yards to Arkansas, which ranks second in the SEC in rushing YPG. Fortunately for Tennessee, it faces an Alabama team that has the second fewest rushing TD in the SEC (6) and ranks bottom five in conference for total rushing yards.
Alabama starting RB Jam Miller, who leads the team in carries and yards, suffered a concussion last week against Missouri and is listed as probable against Tennessee.

Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell II became a household name after recording an electrifying 3 TD, 177-yard performance in the Volunteers’ loss to Georgia earlier this season. Brazzell currently leads the SEC and is second in the nation with 7 TD on the year.
Boasting a 6-foot-5 frame, Brazzell is an ideal jump ball threat who has emerged as QB Joey Aguilar's top target. The junior wideout has proven he can perform in primetime SEC games and must be the best playmaker on the field for the Vols to beat Alabama.

Ball security is paramount in a matchup of this magnitude. Alabama QB, Ty Simpson has turned the ball over just twice this season (one interception, one fumble) while Vols quarterback Joey Aguilar has given up five interceptions and a fumble.
Aguilar and his offense have to protect the ball against the Tide’s ball-hawking secondary and will rely on their own defense to force turnovers against Simpson’s group. The Volunteers’ defense has forced 4 interceptions and 7 fumbles this year and must add to those totals in this game.

Tennessee's dynamic rushing attack has been a focal point of the offense this season. Anchored by three running backs with a combined 14 TD, the Vols RBs must continue their dominant streak.
DeSean Bishop leads this group with 63 carries, 481 yards and 5 TD this season, but suffered a lower leg injury last week, ruling him probable for Saturday. If cleared to play, the sophomore RB will surely play a crucial part in this game.
Regardless of Bishop’s availability, fellow backs, Peyton Lewis (5 TD) and Star Thomas (4 TD) are expected to contribute to this Vols offense in a big way. Alabama's lone loss on the season came at the hands of Florida State who rushed for 230 yards and 4TD against the Tide’s defense. Alabama also gave up 227 rushing yards in a narrow victory over Georgia this season. Tennessee’s offense should look to exploit this defensive weakness to secure a victory.

Alabama QB Ty Simpson has played at an elite level this season, putting up impressive numbers through six games (16 TD, 1 INT). Simpson plays calm and composed when given ample time in the pocket, but as seen in a week one loss to FSU, struggles under intense defensive pressure.
Tennessee’s defense ranks second in the nation with 26 sacks this season and faces an Alabama offensive line that has given up 13 sacks on the year. Look for Tennessee defensive coordinator Tim Banks to bring the heat in this game and win the battle in the trenches.
