IN A BLINK OF AN EYE 💜

Hello to the SATIVA community,,my sincere apologies for the past few weeks for not being very active in the community ,,I had a death in my family someone that was very very dear and close to me ,someone I watched grow up into a nice and vibrant  young man ,,and at the age of 35 He was sudden called home to be with his maker ,,We öften take life ,time and  even the people that we love sometimes for granted ,,,we allow time to get away from us not realizing that time is so so precious , we always believe for some reason that  we will do things when the time  is right ,,,there is no right time only God knows when the time is right ,,,,you must take the initiative to always do what you want in the present moment ,this is the the only time  that truly matters ,tell those you care and love how much they mean to you ,,show them how much you appreciate them ,tell them you love them and take every opportunity to spend quality  time building   happy memories ,don’t wait till it’s too late ,,don’t live to regret not  making that call or  that surprised visit ,give them that hug  , give them tons of kisses and give them the  support they need,life have this funny way of doing things and teaching us the toughest lessons ,but we must not ever forget that time is the deciding factor in how we live this life  and how we continue to live ,if we are so blessed and gifted ,,,so live every moment with love ,kindness , gratitude, and  remember to forgive those who have wronged  you ,let go of grudges ,,cause you never know what the next moment has install for you ,,,LIFE CAN BE GONE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE ,,,Jan 12, 2023

HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO ,? WHAT WOULD YOU DO ? 💜

Recently while on a short trip with my friend I was walking along the streets heading for diner ,suddenly I heard what seems like a woman beating a child that did not seem to be older like 5 ,I could  not see because the screams were coming from a top floor of a building,the screams of this child ,made me cringe and a felt a burst of anger ,I stopped and I screamed ,STOP ENOUGH to the top of my voice ,I couldn’t move ,I was standing waiting to hear if it continued ,but it stopped,my friend turn to me and she said ,let’s go this is not our business,Really ? I responded,this is a child obviously being abused and how could I stand here  and do nothing ? This is not right could never be ,I was already prepared to called the authorities. Thank God it stopped ,But then just a few days ago something else happened ,while my grandsons where getting on their school bus ,I really noticed the driver and assistant was in a different mood but I didn’t pay much attention, until the lady was buckling my 4 yr old grandson in ,she  was asking a little girl in the back seat what was wrong ,so my eyes fell on the girl and  I was shocked in what I was looking at ,her eyes were blue black and her mouth was busted ,and the same feeling I had experienced came rushing back , I have no proof and I feel like I have failed in some way ,but it’s eating me up . Listen people, kids are not our punching bags ,there is so many things you can punch ,maybe try someone you own age and size ,life can be hard and difficult I understand ,but not to bring your frustrations and take it out on your kids ,they are innocent for God sake ,come on what kind of person does this ,do you know that abuse kills  a child inside and their lives would never be the same again ,they lose everything,their values their worth ,everything ,everything , Sorry I am a bit emotional it’s a topic many don’t like to discuss ,but we can help save a child from this ,DONT keep silent, Your humble opinion please ?💜Nov 17, 2022

Has anyone ever asked you for help , because they have decided that it’s time to find a way out of their situation and wants to start working on areas that can improve their life ,and you are willing to assist in what you can ,whether it be advice ,a lending hand ,direction ,or just simple moral support,because these are the areas you know you are capable of helping,obviously you shouldn’t hang your hat higher than you can reach , so DONT agree to help in areas you are not able to ,but there are many  people who  don’t value  that type of help ,the only thing they are interested in  is  dollar 💵 notes , not saying it can’t  be an option one day , why is this ? When offering  your knowledge , experience  and support can one day  possibly lead them to being successful ,and they will have better appreciation for their achievements , The best help you can give someone is by using your experiences as a guide, your  talents  and skills to help them learn and grow, by giving moral support which  can encourage a person to keep motivated and have a  better sense of direction so they can connect and cope better with daily challenges. You may have a friend or someone you know well ,that’s been going through something difficult and you can see the  person has changed , this person  used to  have so much life in them ,they loved life ,their bubbly personality ,their bright and beautiful smile on their face would light up the room when they made their presence, but it’s  suddenly gone ,their  face is filled with sadness ,the sunshine in their eyes is no longer ,these are clear signs ,that something is wrong and they  maybe feeling alone ,too ashamed  to reach out to anyone ,this could be for  many reasons ,one could be that they feel they will be judged and ridiculed or don’t feel the need to burden anyone with their problems , we need  to remind them that they are not alone ,  reach out to them and offer  support ,letting them know if they need to talk you are there and if  they don’t it’s ok ,but let them know your shoulder is available to lean on anytime . DOING THE RIGHT THINGS IS NEVER WRONG 💜

Hi good day to all ,for some the weekend is a time to relax, sit and reflect and for some they have to work ,which ever it is ,hope you all will have a nice and safe weekend ,I’ve been a business woman all my life ,I have dealt with competitors clients and demands ,and a volatile economy, I have done my best to support my family friends those who I love and cherish ,and work towards creating a fulfilling life  Some days are hard can be very  trying and very intense,but that’s ok I’ve learnt,it’s makes the journey exciting,I don’t like easy ,I like taking risk and face the challenge, playing it too safe is boring ,and you get no where .Every day I wake I know there are possibilities and opportunities that presents themselves and this keeps me energized and motivated, this forces me to prepare to do what is needed ,because deep inside I know I will do what ever it takes to win. BUT I’m not going to do it at ALL COSTS ,not if I have to LIE ,MANIPULATE OR CHEAT .Winning feels great yes and can be profitable yes ,but sometimes losing is the best path.It does not matter  what you do whether is with work and just things in general always choose to do the right thing even it means you will lose this time at the end you will be respected and you will be trusted , YOUR INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER IS EVERYTHING,NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THAT 💜Oct 15, 2022

SAYING SORRY TO YOUR KIDS IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS 💜

Everyone makes mistakes, and owning up to them is an important lesson . As a parent, you get frustrated and may overreact. You may treat your children unfairly due to your mood, frustration, or lack of sleep. Being a parent is hard, and it gets to you. I have fully admitted when I have overreacted i have made sure to give my kids an apology , When you offer true apologies to your children, it will help build good relationships. Everyone makes mistakes. Acknowledging these mistakes is important in strengthening relationships. You will build trust with your kids, improve your bond, and validate their feelings. If you stick to your words or actions when you have treated your children unfairly or are incorrect, you may lose their trust. They may also be less likely to apologize when they make a mistake if they continuingly witness your unwillingness to do the same. Saying sorry to your kids is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign that you are a responsible adult and  a good parent ,the example you set for your children  today that is what they  will  eventually follow , I fully believe this is the correct way and something I have done with my kids ,if not immediately,it soon after I have gathered my self together, I offer a true and genuine apology, Your valuable thoughts 💭 on this ,do yo think that because you are a parent you should not apologize to your child if you have over reacted or you were in the wrong ? 💜Oct 5, 2022
