Greetings Football Fans, it seems that Saudi Arabia is coming with a Vision and in a Short duration,it has impacted the whole world. At the 1st phase, they signed The Heavy influence players  in Europe through spending huge amount of money and many check lovers came aslo.Their 1st step was signing of Cristiano Ronaldo then Karim Benzemma, and many more.

They have  significantly increased  investment in football since  the last year.As since their  Public Investment Fund acquired four top clubs. There has been a rush of big name arrivals during the current transfer window, and also  investments have also been made to develop women Football, with Saudi Arabia not having hidden its ambition in chasing Qatar and hosting the World Cup in the coming years.

Now after Europe, seems like they are moving to Asia as well ,and particularly the talented women footballers are in demand,as practically Saudi Arabia has no promotion of football among women due to culture difference,Their women mostly do veil and rarely participate in such competitions, although after Many updates to their rules, things are changing but the matter is still under dust, until how far it will go to meet it's objectives.Now-a-days , mostly they rely on external Talent,as Saudi Management wants to make it a sports based country as best as possible to hide many other things in amid, well that's a different debate already discussed.

They remain looking for Top class talent across the globe and offering crazy money to harvest it.On Friday, their Women club Dammam announced the signing of Pakistan women  football team captain Maria Khan for the upcoming season of the Saudi Women  Premier League. Its actually a long term Policy,as they were carefully monitoring her progress and after she impressed a lot in the Nations Cup last year in the kingdom, they made their mind .The News was announc  on microblogging site X, saying  that Maria Khan was their first foreign acquisition for the upcoming season.

While Maria Khan says she is happy with decision as also she had hhe opportunity to go to Saudi before the influx of investment into the women game, but she waited for perfect Time, her circumstances at the time didn’t allow her to make the move, but she is at a point where she can  take the opportunity and really look forward to it.

It's interesting to see women Football growing in Saudi Arabia.I might add that The Saudi Women’s Premier League replaced the Saudi Women  National League as the country  top-tier women  competition last year. The revamp also saw a significant influx of foreign players  including Morocco star, Ibtissam Jraidi who scored at the ongoing Women World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

A glimpse at Maria Goal against KSA(Saudi national women  team ):

While Talking about Pakistan, Football is consistently in decline due to their struggling economy. When you are already suffering with many national issues like Inflation, Foreign Remittances, Political instability and many others,it's hard to focus on football especially Women one, where people pay little attention,as again culture comes here. Its not common for women To play football in Pakistan due to Family issues , culture, security and many others.that's why, Pakistan women football is in decline, while national team has put in good performance.

Personally I think that's it's a good news as In Pakistan, she is like a useless Talent.Going to Arab Country where Football is valued ,she will have more opportunities to explore her Talent in a more expressive way.No doubt, patriotism comes in way,it's great to represent your Country on international level rather than suffering in country.I hope this starts to create opportunities for Pakistani athletes and the talent that a lot of times goes unnoticed ,will be noticed in future!
