El Classico is the historic rivalry of 2 Spanish clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid, when ever they play game that game is known as El Classico in football world but now this word is banned by Spanish Patent and trademark office , matches are stll being played but they don't be able to use this word for thier matches
Real madrid and Barcelona are now banned to use EL CLASSICO word to promote or market their matches or even Use this word commercially , the reason is that Real madrid tried to get Trademark of the word El Classico but got denied by Spanish Patent and Trademark Office because La Liga got trademark of similer word ‘ElClásico’ . and it will create confusion
To be honest they officially don't use this word but fans will still use this word of thier match, and they never stop using this, because when i tell someone that its El Classico today everyone instantly get that i am talking about real Madrid vs Barcelona match, that is why its never been stopped using, but Real madrid and Barca officials don't be able to use it in Official Campaigns
