The Chicago Bears have some very crucial games coming up as the regular season inches toward a finish.
The Bears have two games against the Green Bay Packers and must also face the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions.
The upcoming games with the Packers are of the utmost importance, as Green Bay is right behind Chicago in the NFC North standings. The Bears have the division lead at 9-3, while the Packers are 8-3-1 and hot on their tail.
Fans expected to face the Packers this Sunday at noon CT, but that game was changed to a 3:25 p.m. CT kickoff. It looks like the game time for the Week 16 matchup has been moved as well, via ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Bears and Packers will still play on Saturday, Dec. 20, but kick off is now at 7:20 p.m. CT on Fox. Get ready for the prime time, Bears fans. The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will play at 4 p.m. CT instead of their original time.
The wins have not come easily against the Packers, with Green Bay going 3-1 in the last four games versus Chicago.
The Bears did win the last meeting, however, beating the Packers on a game-winning field goal in the final week of the 2024 regular season, 24-22. Fans will hope the Bears can keep that momentum going in 2025.
On top of holding the division lead for another week, the Bears would also like to keep the wins coming after claiming the NFC's No. 1 seed on Sunday. Chicago was in second after beating the Eagles 24-15 on Friday and moved into first after the Carolina Panthers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 31-28.
Luckily, the Bears control their own destiny and need to keep pace with the Rams to secure the top seed when the regular season ends.
Fans should have a fun quarterback duel to watch on Sunday, as both Caleb Williams and Jordan Love are having great seasons so far. Williams has 2,722 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. Love has accounted for 2,794 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Unfortunately for the Bears, Sunday's game will be played at Lambeau Field, a place they have not won at too often. Since 2009, the Bears have had three wins at Lambeau Field.
Sunday will offer an opportunity to get a rare win there, with kickoff at 3:25 p.m. CT on Fox.
