Snow, high stakes, and potential playoff returns? Bears-Packers Saturday ignites with an epic winter clash and key player comebacks.

Chicago Bears fans may be seeing their team play in the snow on Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers.

As if the stakes weren't already high enough for this game, there may be an added weather element. The third meeting between the Bears and Packers should be an exciting one, nonetheless.

The first two games came down to the wire. Green Bay took the first matchup 28-21 after a failed comeback attempt by the Bears at Lambeau Field.

Chicago won game two after the Bears were down 16-6 late in the fourth quarter. Cairo Santos added a field goal with under two minutes to go, then the Bears recovered an onside kick and scored a touchdown to force overtime.

D.J. Moore made the game-winning catch to give the team a 22-16 overtime victory.

Now, head coach Ben Johnson and the Bears can send their rivals home in the snow at Soldier Field. 670 The Score's Chris Emma revealed on X that a snow game is likely on Saturday night.

The Packers and Bears will face each other for the third time this season, and it will also be the third time in franchise history that they meet in the playoffs.

The last time was in the 2010 NFC Championship, when the Packers won and advanced to the Super Bowl. Before then, they played in the 1941 Western Division Playoff. The Bears won that game 33-14.

On top of the anticipation leading into the game, it sounds like the Bears get some injured players back for the postseason. Johnson noted how he was hoping to see Kyler Gordon back at practice this week, and the Bears opened the cornerback's 21-day practice window and designated him for return from the injured reserve on Monday.

Gordon has had hamstring, calf and groin injuries this season. He recently went to the IR with a groin injury he suffered in pregame warmups back in Week 14.

Then, Caleb Williams hinted at a potential return from injury for Rome Odunze. Odunze has missed time with a stress fracture in his foot that has kept him out since Week 14. Odunze has 661 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season.

Other Wild Card matchups include the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers, then the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bears and Packers are set to meet at Soldier Field at 7 p.m. CT on Prime Video or Fox 32 for local viewers.
