Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had some fun with "Good Morning Football's" Kyle Brandt.
Williams and Brandt had a segment during a recent sit-down and read off some tweets from Bears fans. The segment's theme was that the tweets were in full-on panic mode, even though the Bears went on to win the games the fans had posted about.
In one tweet, a fan suggested that the franchise trade the quarterback but didn't know the difference between "to" and "too". Williams was quick to correct the fan's mistake.
"It says, 'Yeah, fire Ben Johnson. 1 and done. Same old Bears. Trade Williams bum ***, to.'" Williams said. "It needs an extra o for the too."
Another tweet was all doom and gloom, blaming the Bears for not being good enough in multiple aspects of football.
"This team. Just a complete disaster every week. Caleb sucks, Cairo sucks, the special teams suck, we have no pass rush, it's all a problem." Williams read.
Time and time again, people continue to doubt this Bears team, despite them consistently winning when the odds are stacked against them.
Take the past two games for example, Chicago was without its starting linebackers, as T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring), Noah Sewell (elbow) and Tremaine Edmunds (groin) were all dealing with injury.
In stepped the likes of D'Marco Jackson, Ruben Hyppolite and Amen Ogbongbemiga, and Chicago won both games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles.
People eventually need to realize that for this team to lose, it will need to come down the dying seconds of the game. You simply can't write this team enough that quick.
We've seen in time and time again in matchups with the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Commanders, New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders.
People should know by now that it's dangerous to declare the Bears dead in the water too soon. Especially since Williams has proven he can deliver in clutch time. Williams has 2,722 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Chicago is 9-3 but still has the prove itself in the NFC North on Sunday. The Bears take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in the hopes of the holding onto the top spot in the division.
Green Bay is in second place at 8-3-1 with five games remaining in the regular season.
The Bears and Packers face each other for the first time this season in Week 14, with a lot left to play for. Kickoff is at 3:25 p.m. CT on Fox.
