Browns star Myles Garrett sees shades of Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson in Caleb Williams' elusive, dynamic playmaking ability.

It's not every day that your quarterback gets compared to Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, but that was the case for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears ahead of Sunday's game with the Browns.

The Bears beat the Cleveland Browns 31-3 to improve to 10-4, but still struggled to hold off Myles Garrett. If it's any consolation, most NFL teams can't find a way to stop him, regardless.

Garrett is still chasing the single-season sack record set by Michael Strahan in 2001. He added 1.5 sacks to his tally against the Bears, as he inched closer to making NFL history.

In a recent press conference, Garrett said that Williams reminded him of either Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson or Mahomes, two outstanding players to try to emulate.

"I mean, he's got a great peripheral. It's a lot of times when you think his eyes are downfield, and he spins out of a sack, or he ducks out of one," Garrett said. "So, when you see a guy like that, he gives you a little bit of like Lamar [Jackson], a little bit of Pat [Mahomes] as far as how he moves and he navigates through the pocket, and just able to skip out unscathed, and looking downfield making those big plays. We gotta make him look a little more ordinary on Sunday."

This is high praise coming from Garrett, who is easily one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.

Mahomes and Jackson are definitely some great players to try and model your game after if you're Williams.

Jackson has been to the Pro Bowl four times (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024) and won the MVP (2019, 2023) in his NFL career. For Mahomes, he has three Super Bowl wins (2019, 2022, 2023), six Pro Bowls (2018-2023), and two MVP awards (2018, 2022).

Williams is just in his second NFL season and is already being compared to some very respectable NFL quarterbacks. Williams has 3,150 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions this season.

As a rookie, he threw for 3,541 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions.

He had 242 passing yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Browns. What Garrett said came to fruition in the second half, as Williams made a ridiculous throw on the run to D.J. Moore for a touchdown.

Williams and the Bears will now shift focus to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. Kickoff will be at 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC.
