Alex Wright's quad continues to keep him sidelined as Cleveland Browns rule out three, list one player as questionable for Week 13 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers

The Cleveland Browns officially ruled out three, and listed one player as questionable on Friday, ahead of their Week 13 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

Starting DE Alex Wright is one of the three guys unable to suit up this weekend for Cleveland. Wright has suffered a quad injury against the Jets back in Week 10 and has missed the two games that followed. Now he'll miss a third straight game due to the ailment.

Earlier in the week, head coach Kevin Stefanski shared that Wright was getting close to returning to the field. Apparently he'll need at least another week to try and get back on the field.

Wright has put together a solid season for Cleveland opposite of Myles Garrett. His 24 total tackles is only four off his career, he's also snared three sacks and a career-high nine tackles for loss.

Along with Wright, the Browns have ruled out two additional players for Sunday, in undrafted rookie DT Adin Huntington and tight end Breden Bates. Both suffered injuries in last weekend's matchup with Las Vegas Raiders.

For Huntington, it's also a quad injury, which he suffered in the first quarter and unable to return. Huntington has been a key special teamer for the Browns this season, but has also carved out a periodic role for himself as a fullback and extra blocker out of the backfield in certain formations on offense.

Bates, meanwhile, is dealing with an ankle injury in the aftermath of last week's win in the desert.

Veteran running back Jerome Ford is the lone player with a questionable designation heading into the weekend. Ford has popped up on the injury report mid-week after leaving Wednesday's practice with a hamstring issue and was considered limited.

The ailment prevented him from practicing entirely on Thursday, but he returned on Friday with the team practicing outside in the elements. He was again considered limited for the day. He'll likely test things out pregame on Sunday to determine whether or not he'll be able to play against the 49ers.
