Kevin Stefanski Addresses His Job Security With Browns cover image

Many Cleveland Browns fans want Kevin Stefanski fired.

The Cleveland Browns got blown out by the Chicago Bears on Sunday, dropping their record to 3-11 on the season.

Many Browns fans want HC Kevin Stefanski fired. Stefanski was asked during a Monday video conference if he has had any conversations with ownership about his job security.

“I don’t get into those type of things,” Stefanski said. “My focus, our football team’s focus, is solely on the Buffalo Bills. Obviously watching the tape today, that’s our focus. That’s all we really care about.”

The Browns have three games left in the regular season. If Stefanski is fired, it will happen in the offseason.

Cleveland is 29th in the NFL in points per game and 18th in points per game allowed. Stefanski and Co. haven't won a game since Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Stefanski, who received an extension prior to the 2024 season, is 43-55 in the regular season and 1-1-2 in the playoffs as the Browns' head coach. The 43 wins are the most of any head coach in the expansion era.

Cleveland has been a walking disaster for a while now. Stefanski clearly hasn't lived up to his billing as an offensive guru, as both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders have struggled under him. Gabriel and Sanders have combined to throw eight interceptions this season.

It will be interesting to see what the Browns do with Stefanski this offseason. They are expected to draft a QB in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft since Gabriel and Sanders don't appear to have what it takes to be a franchise QB.

Will Cleveland trust Stefanski to develop another QB or will ownership go in a different direction? Only time will tell, but if you poll Browns fans in Ohio, most of them want Stefanski fired.

“Yeah, I’m not going to get in those type of things. Not my focus," Stefanski said.
