The Dallas Cowboys will go into Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings knowing that they have to win out and have other results go their way to make the playoffs.
With Dak Prescott stating that the team has to control what they can control, all eyes are firmly fixed on the Vikings. And as it turns out, Dallas might be a little healthier as well.
As Thursday's injury report dropped, there was some good news for Sunday night, and some other news that isn't so great.
First to the big ticket item.
CeeDee Lamb was listed as a full participant at practice and later in the day was fully cleared to play on Sunday night, so that's a big tick for the Cowboys.
But then things get a little sticky.
Tight end Jake Ferguson and left tackle Tyler Guyton were both DNP's after Ferguson was limited on Wednesday and Guyton was a DNP as well.
So, it doesn't appear that Guyton will be suiting up on Sunday night, and as for Ferguson, who is dealing with a calf injury, he could loom as a game-time decision.
If the "big biscuit" can't go, then look for Brevyn Spann-Ford and Luke Schoonmaker to get more reps in his place.
Elsewhere, Trevon Diggs, who has been the center of attention this week, was limited for the second straight day.
We are still no closer to finding out if Diggs is even close to a return, with Brian Schottenheimer stating he wants more consistency from the All-Pro, and he has to do things the right way (whatever that means).
So, the next couple of days will be big for Ferguson and Diggs, both of whom, you have to say, right now, are big question marks for the Cowboys heading into Sunday night, and it is likely that they could be given right up until game time to prove their fitness.
