Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott knows Monday night's win over the Raiders isn't the end of celebrating Marshawn Kneeland's life, it's just the beginning.

It has been a tough couple of weeks for the Dallas Cowboys with the tragic passing of Marshawn Kneeland, and the team channeled all of their emotions into something positive in the form of a dominant 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

The Cowboys, after a shaky start, settled into the game and, on both sides of the ball, hit their stride, reaching a level the Raiders couldn't match, as the memory of Kneeland powered Dallas to an emotional win.

Prescott would throw four touchdowns along with having 268 passing yards and a 138.6 rating. George Pickens had himself a day, with 144 yards and a touchdown, while Quinnen Williams announced himself to Cowboys Nation with a dominating performance that saw him post 1.5 sacks, have several pressures, and quarterback hurries.

The Cowboys did Marshawn's memory and legacy proud on Monday night, but Dak wanted to make sure post-game that everyone knew that this wasn't the end of it all.

    It's just the beginning.

“This doesn’t put a cap on it,” Prescott said. “We’re going to continue to move forward and shining a light on Marshawn and carrying his legacy. We need to play like this every week moving forward. He’ll always be with us.”

One of the big questions pre-game was how the Cowboys would cope mentally with Kneeland's passing.

Would it be used in a positive way to spur the team onto a win, or would it have a negative effect on the locker room? Well, after a wobbly first two drives, Dallas got the train back on the tracks and never looked back.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer was seen in the locker room before giving a speech to his players in tears because he was so proud of the group and what they had been through, to come out the other side and put on a performance like that.

As Prescott stated, there is no cap on it, and the Cowboys will be honoring Kneeland's memory and legacy every time they step on the field for the rest of their lives.

They did Marshawn proud on Monday night, and we bet he was looking down with a big smile on his face as the Cowboys handed out a beating to the Raiders.

“So proud of these guys and the way that they grieved, cried, laughed,'' Schottenheimer said. “But they wanted to and went out and honored him. He’s a part of our family forever. It’s been tough these past 12 days, really tough. I’m proud of those guys just the way they played today. They played with Marshawn’s play style.”
