It is no secret that the Dallas Cowboys desperately need a pass rusher after trading away Micah Parsons.
This season has seen the 7-8-1 Cowboys struggle to consistently get pressure on the quarterback and this offseason, getting a pass rusher is near the top of the to-do list.
So why not try and get one of the best in football?
With Maxx Crosby unhappy with being shut down for Week 17 and possibly Week 18 as well, reports stated that Maxx left the Raiders facility as a result.
And now the speculation begins.
This isn't the first time Dallas has been linked with Crosby, and it certainly won't be the last.
It would take a huge effort to sign Crosby, but it does give the Cowboys something to think about heading into the offseason.

And our friend at 105.3 The Fan, Zach Wolchuk, brought this up on X, and it is a question that is a big conversation-starter.
Should the Cowboys draft this year, or trade for Crosby?
What is meant by this? Dallas has two first-round picks from the Parsons trade in the 2026 draft and one in the 2027 draft.
At least one of them would be needed to get Crosby out of Las Vegas, if not more.
Would Dallas part ways with one of its first-round picks in the 2026 draft?

It is a superb thought exercise, and we know that trying to get Maxx out of Las Vegas is going to require some moving and shaking from the front office.
The Cowboys have ammunition in the upcoming draft and the following one to go after Crosby.
Or does the franchise use those first-round picks to get some high-quality young players into the organization and build the defense around them?
Of course, drafting is never a home run, and you don't know what player you will be getting, so it is a dart throw of sorts.
But Crosby is a bonafide star with skins on the wall.
Draft or go after Maxx?
That is the big question Dallas has to ask itself this offseason.
