FS1 analyst Nick Wright questioned whether CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens could perform in a big game vs. the Chiefs, and now Pickens has responded.

The Dallas Cowboys' offense hasn't had many question marks surrounding it this season, but prior to the Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs, there was one.

FS1 analyst and Chiefs fan Nick Wright stated on First Things First questioned whether the duo come through in a big game.

Well, the offensive duo might have heard Wright's comments, because they torched the Chiefs' defense in a critical 31-28 win.

Early, it was Lamb tormenting corner Trent McDuffie, and then it was Pickens who lit up the defense late to secure what was a superb all-around performance from the Cowboys duo as they combined for 13 receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown.

And it appears that Pickens heard Wright's comments and responded.

"Eat them words," the account said.

There is no denying that Lamb was facing a little pressure in the lead-up with his drops in the previous week's win against the Philadelphia Eagles making headline news, but No. 88 responded because ... of course, right?

As for Pickens, he continued his incredible form as he is now having a career-best season with the Cowboys in yards, receptions, and touchdowns, and it is surely one of owner Jerry Jones' contractual priorities this offseason to keep Pickens from going into free agency.

Wright doubted the duo's ability to show up in big games despite Lamb already having skins on the wall in that aspect, but seeing the offense roll as it did against a Chiefs defense that is considered one of the better units in the league?

Yes, that should make Wright and other haters "eat those words.''

If fhere were legit doubts over Lamb and Pickens' ability to come through in a big spot? Well, in helping Dallas to a third straight win and a 6-5-1 record, both answered those doubts emphatically on Thanksgiving.
