

FAKE FEDS SCAMMED $4.6 BILLION FROM CRYPTO INVESTORS

U.S Cybersecurity Agency (CISA) warns of a rise in scams where fraudsters impersonate federal employees to target crypto investors.
In 2023, impersonation scams cost victims an average of $948, contributing to over $4.6 billion in scam revenue.
CISA:
"Our staff will never request money wiring, cash, cryptocurrency, or use gift cards.
Do not pay the caller; take note of the phone number calling you; hang up immediately, [and] validate the contact by calling CISA."
