On Wednesday, the hacker group "Gonjeshke Darande," also known as "Predatory Sparrow" and reportedly linked to Israel, claimed responsibility for stealing $48 million in cryptocurrency from Nobitex, a digital currency platform accused of helping Iran fund terrorism and evade sanctions. The group announced plans to release Nobitex’s source code and internal network information within 24 hours, warning Iranians that engaging with terrorist-financing infrastructure risks their assets. Additionally, Gonjeshke Darande admitted to a cyberattack on Tuesday that disrupted online services at Sepah Bank, controlled by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and affected connected gas station systems across Iran, claiming to have "destroyed" the bank’s data, according to IRGC-affiliated Fars News.
