    This is a massive decision.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Chicago Bears on Black Friday and Kevin Patullo will remain the OC.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters on Monday that he's not going to strip Patullo of play calling duties.

“No, I haven’t,” Sirianni said. “As coaches, we’re always looking for answers. We’re never into assigning blame. It’s just looking for answers. I think what sometimes can happen is, ‘It’s just that!’ Well, it’s not just that. It’s every piece of the puzzle — coaching, playing, execution, scheme. Everything. We’ve got to be better in all those aspects.”

Through 11 games, the Eagles' offense is the worst it's been in Sirianni's five years as head coach in yards per game, points per game and EPA/drive. They rank No. 24 in the NFL in yards, No. 17 in points, No. 21 in rushing, No. 23 in passing, No. 27 in third downs and No. 1 in the red zone. They're No. 17 in EPA/drive and No. 32 in three-and-punt rate.

“It’s never in football just one thing, even though you’re always looking for answers,” Sirianni said. “So no, I haven’t considered that.”

The Eagles went up 21-0 against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12. They lost by a final score of 24-21.

Philadelphia didn't score in the second half.

“Yesterday, I felt Kevin did a good job of calling it,” Sirianni said. “Obviously, he’s going to want plays back.”

The Eagles and Bears are 8-3. QB Jalen Hurts knows he and his teammates have to execute better moving forward.

“I think it’s a matter of the execution, the discipline, and the focus in what we do,” Hurts said. “There are a lot of instances where it’s showing up, and we’ve been able to figure it out and will ourselves to a win. Tonight, we didn’t. We played a hell of a first half, and we didn’t play not even close enough to our standard in the second half with things that take no talent, honestly.”

Patullo has been under scrutiny throughout his first year as offensive coordinator. That will continue to be the case until the Eagles get it together on offense.
